HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and yours! May your days be filled with joy, light, and warmth – and of course, fabulous holiday style!

It is easy to get so caught up in the holiday rush that we forget to focus on style. It’s possible to be Fabulous at your Holiday party AND eat your dinner, too!  Too often, I see people either sacrificing comfort to look like a fashion magazine model OR totally sacrificing style to be comfortable.  The holidays (or any other time, really) don’t have to be an either/or proposition.  Check out my Stylish Holiday TIPS below:

DRESSES are your best friends at the holiday party.  Especially, flattering and forgiving patterned wrap ones, like this one from Diane von Furstenberg.

Gorgeous party wraps or ponchos are perfect accessories to dress you up and hide any holidays “rolls”.

Sweater dresses with warm tights are ideal for more casual get-togethers – cute, stylish, and you can eat as much as you want!

Wearing a patterned shirt, untucked will give you the most leeway with all-you-can-eat festivities.

Wearing a sweater over a button-down shirt creates a nice, tucked-in silhouette – if you can tolerate the layers.

If you dare to sport a pair of suspenders, they will hold up your pants without restricting your post-binge breathing – ain’t that worth a try? 😉

See, you CAN be stylish and comfy over the next few weeks – have fun and ENJOY the holiday spirit in STYLE!

P.S. I know the Ugly Christmas Sweater has become a “thing”.  There are parties for it.  There are kits to make them.  There are contests and people are actually going out to BUY them – on purpose.  I mean… if you must, I guess I can’t stop you.  But it is my duty to tell you – Ugly Christmas Sweaters flatter NO ONE.  OK, that’s my PSA for today.  Wear one at your own risk! 🙂
